"Fred started building organs in the York, Pennsylvania area in 1936 and built organs until his death in 1972. He was a very active builder with over 70 organs to his credit. I am working on a book on Fred Furst and am documenting his instruments. Many have been removed, some have been rebuilt and a few are still playing in original condition. I have hundreds of pictures, and stop lists and general information that all will be included in the book when finished."

Received from Taylor K. Miller (Taylor Miller Organ Co.-York, PA).

At present we have no photographs that should be displayed on this page, though we may well have photographs under a related entry with a different form of the name. We would very much like to have photographs of all builders, nameplates, and other appropriate images in our database. If you can assist us with this project, please send a message to photos@organsociety.org. Our photo editor will be happy to assist you.
