Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action.

Two manuals. 3 divisions. 13 stops. 13 registers. 13 ranks. Manual compass is 58 notes. Pedal compass is 27 notes.

The organ is in a case at the front of the room. Traditional style console with a keyboard cover that can be lifted to form a music rack. The organ has an attached keydesk.

Drawknobs in horizontal row above top manual. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, not in standard AGO position. Combination Action: Fixed mechanical system. Flat straight pedalboard.

  • From Trinity German Methodist which merged with Hundley Methodist in 1952 to become Ashland Methodist. at 3rd & Robidoux. Congregation moved to new bldg. 1954. Old bldg. sold to Holsey Chapel A. M. E. 1954, which was razed c. 1973. Organ purchased by Ashland Methodist c. 1973. Restored by Charles McManis, substituting 8' oboe for Sw. 16' Bourdon. Compass 61/27. (OHS PC Database. 2004-10-30)
