Calvary Presbyterian Church sold the building in the 1930's; it changed hands several times more, falling upon harder and harder times. In 1968 the Baptist congregation that owned the building moved and the site was destined to become a parking lot. The Old Church Society was formed, obtained the deed to the property and repaired it. The building is in frequent use as a wedding chapel, concert hall and meeting venue. The organ was made playable in 1968 by Charles Fisk, Barbara Owen and Kenneth Coulter. Richard Bond Organ Builders is currently (1997) restoring the organ.
