The organ needs repairs, but is in usable condition.

Technical Details

Electric key action. Mechanical stop action.

Four manuals. 51 stops. 50 ranks. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in center chambers at the front of the room with visible façade pipes or case front. Traditional style console with roll top. The console is in a fixed position, center.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Adjustable combination pistons. Concave radiating pedalboard. Combination action thumb pistons. Coupler reversible thumb pistons.

  • Updated through online information from James W Guyer. -- The below stoplist for this instrument labels it as "opus 2156", built in 1906 and references the January, 1908 edition of the New Music Review. Upon looking through a copy of this journal, the corrected date is 1907, and no opus number is given anywhere in the journal.

    Additionally, Kimball used KPO (Kimball Pipe Organ) to catalog their instruments, not opus numbers. And placing this as KPO 2156 puts it out of sequence with other Kimball organs built around the same time. (Database Manager. 2015-10-27)
