Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical action with pneumatic assist [Barker levers or some similar device]. Pneumatic stop action.

Two manuals. 3 divisions. 26 stops. 28 ranks. Manual compass is 58 notes. Pedal compass is 27 notes.

The organ is in a gallery-level case at the rear of the room. Traditional style console with a keyboard cover that can be lifted to form a music rack. The organ has an attached keydesk.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Combination Action: Fixed mechanical system. Flat straight pedalboard.

    The Great Division utilizes double drawstop pneumatics to draw the stop sliders, allowing the ingenious use of programmable mechanichal combination pistons, as well as a piston for reversible Swell to Great Coupler. All features well ahead of their time in 1889.
