Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Electric stop action.

Four manuals. 5 divisions. 73 stops. 73 registers. 125 ranks. 6235 pipes. Manual compass is 56 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in a case at the front of the room.

Balanced swell shoes/pedals, standard AGO placement. Combination Action: Remote pneumatic/mechanical capture system. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard. Reversible full organ/tutti thumb piston. Reversible full organ/tutti toe stud. Combination action thumb pistons.

  • Updated through online information from John Berman. -- It should be noted that the cathedral and the organ were both renovated during 2013 in anticipation of the 2014 celebration of the 125th anniversary of the cathedral's consecration in 1889. The organ's pipework was removed during the renovation work on the building, and received a thorough cleaning. Some minor repair work was also done. (Database Manager. 2014-12-29)
