Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) pitman chests.

Two manuals. 16 stops. 31 registers. 16 ranks. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in a gallery at the rear of the room and some pipes are exposed. Traditional style console with roll top. The console is in a fixed position, center.

Drawknobs in vertical rows on angled jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, standard AGO placement. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard. Combination action thumb pistons.

  • Relocated from Presbyterian Church, Bedford, NY. Installed behind a case built by Hutchings in 1897, with no organ behind it. No mechanical alteration, but reconfigured for the space. Façade pipes made to speak. Console roll player. (OHS PC Database. 2004-10-30)

  • Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- The elaborate case sketched by Richard Morris Hunt was never constructed, the Pedal 16 Open Metal Diapason is arranged as three unencased towers with four flats behind them.
