• Updated through on-line information from don belben. -- Organ burned with church in 1975. Do not think organ had 42 rks, more possibly it had about 37-39. (may be able to confirm at later date) . Orig console circa 1914 was replaced in 1924 with new four-manual Austin console. (Database Manager. 2007-07-28)
• Updated through on-line information from don belben. -- The organ & church burned in January 1976. According to info from Austin, sent to me in 1985, the organ had 36 ranks. (Gr, Sw, Ch, Solo, Echo & ped) The figure 42 evidently referred to the no. of stops. Regarding the early info in the Austin opus list it appears that many of the rank listings may really be stop totals. This organ had 42 stops (minus percussions) so this seems to hold true -- as with other organs of similar date. (Database Manager. 2007-08-01)
